Game Master Michael will contact participants before the first session to start the character creation process and introduce the rules of DnD.

An introduction to the Lore:

"Welcome to Waterdeep, the Crown of the North, where a wondrous tale of urban adventure is about to unfold. Our story begins with the gathering of adventurers at the Yawning Portal Inn and Tavern. Volothamp Geddarm, the famous explorer and raconteur, has a quest - one that entangles the characters in a bitter conflict between two nefarious organizations." - official introduction to Waterdeep, Dragon Heist

What is DnD? Dungeons and Dragons is a table-top role-playing game in which players create characters with unique traits, abilities, and personalities to then play together as a crew of adventurers on an epic quest. Throughout their journey, players must work together (or sometimes against) to problem-solve. The format and fantasy play of Dungeons and Dragons allows for socialization and creative expression through role-play. It is the best kind of learning! Learning through play!
