A Minnesota based children's camp best known for creative mythic-outdoor play that makes space/allows for creative expression and exploration through fantasy role play, constructive thinking and hands-on crafting knowledge through the construction of epic cardboard creations, development of conflict resolution with self and with others through competitive games, and the chance to practice and learn how to vocalize boundaries and consent at early ages in ways that translate later on in life.
In the summer of 2020, five AiC artists were brought to Montana to host a weekly long camp as a residency with the Holter Museum of Art. Now with 2 of those artists calling Montana home, Adventures in Cardboard is working in collaboration with the Holter Museum of Art to expand AiC's beloved fantasy play programming beyond the boundaries of the Minnesota Realm and into Big Sky country.
