The Holter Museum of Art strives to create safe and private places of learning and engaging with the arts. The Open Drawing Sessions are both a place of expression and privacy for the artist and the model. To ensure safe practices The Holter Museum of Art is requiring the following conduct within the drawing classes for all artists to mindful of. Any disregard for these rules will be met with the artist being asked to leave the session and/or course all together. It is for the sake of the integrity of the Museum, the drawing course, and the individuals taking part in the course that these rules have been established. Please take note of the following and sign below.
• Absolutely NO photography of any kind for any reason
• NO interacting with the model during poses
• The model has the right to make their poses as they feel comfortable. Suggestions can be made but the model will make the choice of how they pose, and for how long.
• The drawing environment is meant to be a quiet experience. Please be respectful of others and their concentration during the pose. If you arrive late you need to wait, please understand the video host may be focused on the video stream and will let you into the zoom when there is a pause or changing of the pose.
• No obscene language, racial slurs, or uncomfortable joking will be tolerated.
The class structure will be:
o 15 minutes of gestures and warmups.

o 30 minute pose.
o If the model chooses, there may be an additional 10 minute pose or series of poses to cool-down and end the session. This is up to the model.
• The drawing sessions are for designed individual growth and exploration in the field of drawing and sketching. If an individual wants a critique of their work the artist needs to state it first before criticism is given.
